Veda Sports Marketing private limited is the legal entity and Sports Konnect is the brand owned and operated by Veda Sports Marketing Private Limited.

Sports Konnect respects the privacy of its Clients and believes that each of its Client who books or looks for any services offered through this website www.sportskonnect.in, has the right to be informed about the privacy policy that is followed.

The idea of this policy is to educate the ‘Users’ as to what personal information is being captured by us and where the same is being used. It describes the principles and practices that apply to ‘Personal Information’ collected from Users of our services on our Site, in telephone or e-mail communications.

To summarise noted that Sports Konnect will not

(i) Collect Personal Information of the Users without their knowledge and permission;
(ii) Knowingly disclose the Personal Information of any User to third parties, except as provided herein.
(iii) Sports Konnect endeavours to take reasonable steps to protect the security of the Personal Information collected from its Users. The Clients / Users can also register with Sports Konnect in order to book services on this website and to take advantage of the customization features provided herein. However, if any User chooses not to register, he/ she can take advantage of any feature of this site where registration is not required and in such cases the information collected from the User would be limited.

Sports Konnect logs the IP address of the Users in order to maintain the server, administer the Web site and track usage statistics.

The IP address of any User may vary each time they visit the site, or it may be the same, depending on whether such User access the site through an always-on type of Internet connection (e.g., cable modem or DSL), or through a dial-up connection (e.g., VSNL, MTNL etc). Either way, it would be extremely difficult for Sports Konnect to identify the Users through their IP address, and Sports Konnect never makes any attempt to do so.

If any User reached our site by clicking on a link or advertisement on another site, then Sports Konnect also log that information. This helps Sports Konnect to maximize their Internet exposure, and to understand the interests of its Users. The User will be able to purchase services like Flights, Hotels, Car Rentals, Packages, Cruises, sports & entertainment event tickets etc. available on the site.

If anyone registers with the site, Sports Konnect will collect personal information of such User in addition to the non-personal information described above. That personal information may include name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, travel preferences, passport number, user name and password. Further when any User purchases Products or Services for a third party using his own Member ID and password, Sports Konnect will collect that third party's name and contact information, and other information as required by the travel service provider(s), so that Sports Konnect can complete the booking.

How the personal information collected is used Sports Konnect use the personal information collected to help both Sports Konnect as well the User. As mentioned above, registering with the site allows the Users to personalize the Web site so that it is most useful to them. It also allows the User to log into the site automatically each time of visit, rather than manually typing user name and password every time. By registering one can also track his/her history of transactions that he/she may have done on the site which is available in the form of a Dossier. It also enables Sports Konnect to provide its Users with information about travel opportunities in which he/she might be interested. The subsidiaries, group and sister companies of Sports Konnect also will comply with applicable laws governing the transmission of promotional communications, and give each User an opportunity in any such email that they send to choose not to receive such promotional e-mail messages in the future.

Users also may share their personal information with third-parties specifically engaged by Sports Konnect to provide services (such as Airlines, Hotels, Ground Handlers, Insurance Companies, Product Companies and advertising agencies), in which case Sports Konnect will require those parties to agree to use any such personally-identifiable data solely for the purpose of providing the specified services through Sports Konnect. Sports Konnect may also use the information to provide to government agencies like RBI, Banks etc as per the laws of the country. Users must appreciate that Sports Konnect has to cooperate with legal authorities, and may in some circumstances be required to disclose personally identifiable information in response to requests from law enforcement authorities, or in response to a subpoena or other legal process. Sports Konnect do not share any Personal Information about the Users with these advertisers unless permitted by the Users to do so, which is separate from any permission provided during the Member registration process. These advertisers may seek to use cookies and pixel tags to track Session Data about the ads each User has seen and types of things in which the User appears interested. These advertisers may also use combined information about the visits of the Users to the Site and other sites in order to provide advertisements about related goods and services that may be of interest to the respective User. When Users click on one of these advertisers' links, the Users would be leaving the Site and entering another site. Sports Konnect shall not responsible for such third party's sites. Sports Konnect cautions each User to carefully review the privacy statements of any other site he/she may visit, because those privacy statements will apply to the Users while visiting that site, and may be very different from this policy.

Opting-Out As part of the registration process, Sports Konnect gives its Users the ability to receive via e-mail or direct messaging information about the Products and Services, updates to the Site, customized advertisements and promotions that are targeted to specific interest, such as flight specials, promotions, contests, sweepstakes and other travel opportunities available on the Site and/or sponsored by the travel service providers and advertisers. Sports Konnect sends this information directly, or via third party service providers. If any User do not opt-out from receiving these communications about the Site, Sports Konnect will send them to the Users. For the sake of convenience, the Site provides links to other sites. When a User clicks on one of these links, he/she are leaving our Site and entering another site. Sports Konnect shall not be responsible for such third party sites as such sites are not under the control of Sports Konnect. Users should carefully review the privacy statements of any other sites they visit, because those privacy statements will apply to the Users’ visit to such other sites. Access to any other Internet sites linked to the Site is at the user's own risk. Sports Konnect does not in any way vouch or endorse the genuineness or the quality of the contents of such websites. It should not be construed that Sports Konnect has any association with the operators or owners of such third party websites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy Sports Konnect reserves the right to change this policy should Sports Konnect deems it advisable to do so. If Sports Konnect makes any material changes that will affect personal information it has already collected from the Users, Sports Konnect will make reasonable efforts to notify the respective User of the changes and to give him/her the opportunity to amend or cancel his/her registration.
